Getting started
From a conversation to useful work.
You do not need to learn every feature first. Tell Practice what you want to achieve, then review and direct the work.
Start with a real piece of work
After signup and the required access and billing steps, you land in chat. Describe the outcome you want, who it is for, and the evidence you already have. You can ask Practice to help clarify the task. Profile, branding and connections can be set up when you need them—not before you can start.
Keep work in the right place
Create a client with just a company name, then add an engagement when useful. Select the intended client or engagement in chat. You can also create reusable clientless artefacts. Check the saved destination and use the output link to reopen and improve the work.
Create and export
Practice can create browser reports, presentations and interactive artefacts, plus downloadable editable Word, Excel and PowerPoint files when generation is available. PDF is a separate export for supported artefacts; it is not a promise to reproduce every live interactive state. Upload source files, add links or write notes. Direct Google Docs, Sheets and Slides authoring is not supported.
Connect only what you need
Open Settings → Integrations for email and calendar connections, and your practice profile for brand details. Email actions use your authorised connected mailbox. Review recipients, attachments and content before delivery. Contract signing remains an action for the named human signer.
Share deliberately
Private workspace content, named recipients and anyone-with-the-link access are different choices. Review the exact work before publishing or inviting someone. Revoking access prevents future access through Practice; it cannot recall downloaded or forwarded copies. Template copies are independent, but copied text, images and email content may still name a previous client—review them.
Work as a team
Each internal teammate needs a confirmed seat and must accept their invitation. Workspace credits are shared. Owners and administrators manage purchases and team access. Members can use shared credits for authorised work; asking the agent does not bypass their existing permissions.
Usage and interrupted work
Once an AI request starts, running out of credits does not interrupt it. Usage can take your balance below zero; add credits before starting another request. AI and provider usage already incurred is charged even if work needs revision or a request is interrupted. Saved work is retained so you can continue from it. Missing supplier usage is reviewed internally, not guessed. If a request is rejected before work starts for insufficient credits, keep your unsent prompt and review Plan and billing. Do not automatically repeat uncertain email sends or other external actions. Ask Practice to inspect the saved state, or contact support about a billing error. Credit adjustments and cash refunds are separate.
Plans and credits
All plans include the same core capabilities. Starter: $50 USD per seat/month with 2,000 credits; Growth: $120 USD per seat/month with 5,000 credits; Scale: $299 USD per seat/month with 13,000 credits.
An eligible workspace receives 500 credits for up to 30 days, once, with a card required. The selected plan starts when the trial ends unless cancelled. Exhausting trial credits does not start paid billing automatically: top up or explicitly start a paid plan early.
Optional top-ups: 1,000 credits for $25 USD or 2,000 credits for $50 USD. Paid credits roll over; trial credits keep their original expiry. AI conversations, research, generation and AI-requested edits use credits based on the work performed. Manual edits without AI do not use AI credits.
Review an upgrade's proportional payment before confirming; the renewal date stays the same. Downgrades take effect at renewal. After cancellation you retain access to the paid-through date, then the private workspace is locked. Saved work and unused paid credits are retained for your return. A top-up alone does not unlock expired subscription access.
Open Plan and billingCash refunds
To request a cash refund, contact email support with the affected payment. These windows apply when the credit allocation from that payment is unused:
- First subscription payment: request within 14 days of payment.
- Subscription renewal: request within 7 days of payment.
- Credit top-up: request within 14 days of payment.
Duplicate charges are refunded. Service failures are assessed on their circumstances. A cash refund removes the associated credit allocation, not unrelated credits. Requesting a refund does not itself execute a refund or cancel a subscription.
This policy does not limit your statutory rights. Cash refunds are separate from credit adjustments.
